SYNOPSIS
In this play, we encounter a woman who seemingly has no issues or problems in her life or relationships, living a precise and calculated life. One ordinary day, the woman realizes she has forgotten her own name. Despite having a strong memory and recalling everything else, she cannot remember the simplest aspect of her identity. Ultimately, she consults a psychoanalyst for help.
This play is about an identity crisis, offering a deep exploration of the true emotions of a person, which may get lost in the routine of daily life.
The characters in this play are like a scrambled puzzle, needing each other to be complete. In the end, through three therapy sessions, we delve deeply into the characters’ personalities.
The play is inspired by a distant and close reading of a story by Haruki Murakami titled Shinagawa Monkey.
