
Gilnaz Yousefian
Gilnaz Yousefian was born in Tehran in 1984. With a strong academic foundation, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Shahid Beheshti University. She then pursued her passion for language and literature, obtaining a Master’s degree in English Translation from Kharazmi University and continued her academic journey by earning a Ph.D. in Language and Translation Studies from Allameh Tabatabai University, where her research focused on critical discourse analysis and cultural studies.
Throughout her career, Gilnaz has established herself as a multifaceted professional. She works as a translator, university lecturer, and researcher, contributing to various academic discussions and publications in her field. In addition to her academic pursuits, Gilnaz has been deeply passionate about music since childhood. She has trained in Iranian vocal music and has performed on stage numerous times in Iran.
In 2016, Gilnaz began to transition her focus toward international management within the realms of music and theater. Recognizing the importance of cultural exchange, she participated in the Séjour culture program at the French Ministry of Culture in 2016.
She also worked as the executive manager of the international section of the Fajr International Music Festival for several editions.
In 2021, Gilnaz joined the Shiveh Theater Group as the International project Manager.
