SYNOPSIS

A Streetcar Named Desire is one of the most iconic plays of the 20th century, earning the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Set against the backdrop of post-war America in the 1950s, the play mirrors the country’s chaotic and fragmented state. It follows the story of a woman whose struggles, coupled with societal constraints, drive her toward psychological collapse in a patriarchal society. A Streetcar Named Desire offers a profound and haunting depiction of the unraveling of a human soul.
